Bayern Munich have approached representatives of Real Madrid player Aurelian Choameni
Real Madrid’s overloaded midfield could turn out to be a very favorable situation for the opportunistic Bayern Munich side, who are looking for a defensive midfielder.
According to Sport1 reporter Kerry Hau, just last week we saw reports of the Bavarians’ interest in Aurelien Tchouameni and now we know how and why those reports emerged. In fact, Howe stated that Bayern Munich have already approached the Frenchman’s representatives:
Tuchel still hopes to have a top player in the top six! There are several candidates, with Munich recently offering players such as Sofjan Amrabat (Fiorentina) or Ederson Alvarez (Ajax Amsterdam). But the Bayern boss prefers a big solution.
France international Aurelien Tchouameni from Real Madrid is his first choice, according to SPORT1. Already had the first communication with the players. Chuameni himself is said to have asked a French national team colleague about the Bayern Munich club.
However, the news from Hau did not end there, as Chuameni’s playing time in Spain was limited:
According to those around him, if his regular game training at Real Madrid cannot be guaranteed, he is likely to move to Munich. Real Madrid have an oversupply of midfield and Chuameni spent most of last season’s big games on the bench as Ancelotti preferred to trust older defenders alongside Toni Kroos and Luka Modric .
Both “veteran players” have now extended their contracts again – as has Spaniard Danny Ceballos. Also, Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and now Jude Bellingham, after all Dortmund have spent triple figures One million U.S. dollars.
Due to the lack of playing time, Choameni fears that not playing will also affect his status in the French national team. Bayern Munich know Real Madrid may need to fire several players to be successful under Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, so they are looking for a way to take advantage of the situation. However, there are no official plans yet, and Bayern Munich seem to be in the “feeling” phase to see how this all works:
SPORT1 KNOW: Tuchel finds Chuameni interesting as Chelsea FC manager and wants to bring him to London like Rice did. However, the topic is not quite specific yet. One thing is for sure: Only if there are multiple departures in midfield will the bosses seriously consider signing Chuameni, as the coach has asked.
Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka are allegedly no longer considered ‘untouchable’ in what could be a tumultuous summer for the Germans record master.
