Kamala to Liverpool

during an interview offsideLiverpool should spend big on Moises Caicedo this summer, says Collymore. However, if the Reds fail to sign the Ecuadorian, Kamara would be an excellent alternative to Fabinho. However, experts say Liverpool are expected to face difficulties in convincing Villa to sell the Frenchman.

Collymore said:

“In order to replace Fabinho, I think Liverpool should go all out for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, although it might be a bit too early for him, but Aston Villa’s Bubba Karl Kamara would be a good acquisition for Klopp as he was brilliant at times last season – although I don’t think Aston Villa will be motivated to sell him this summer.”

There have been reports that Liverpool are interested in signing Caicedo, but Chelsea are currently the front-runners to sign the 21-year-old.

Kamara could be a solid acquisition for Liverpool as he is technically skilled, dynamic, can thread passes between defences, has an eye for passing from distance and can also contribute defensively.

The midfielder moved to Villa Park last summer for an estimated £26m. transfer market – He has four years left on his current contract, so Villa can afford to demand a hefty fee if they are forced to cash.

It will be interesting to see if Liverpool decide to take concrete steps to bolster their midfield by signing the Frenchman.
