AC Milan signs Barcelona defender on loan in January
AC Milan are considering a loan offer for Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet in January.
There are rumors that Barcelona are considering a move for Lenglet in early 2024 due to his lack of performance during his loan spell at Aston Villa.
The France international has made just four Premier League starts so far this season at Villa Park, with his appearances reduced.
Barcelona are willing to loan him elsewhere for the second half of the 2023/24 season.
According to “Daily Sports”, AC Milan regards Lenglet as the first target to strengthen the Rossoneri’s defense in the next few weeks.
However, the Milan giants are aware that there are many moving parts involved in the deal and Villa and Barcelona will need to agree terms before any changes can be made.
Lenglet’s status at Villa has risen in recent weeks, but the 28-year-old may be open to a change if he is offered a bigger role elsewhere.
